The bar of lawyers of Ghent finds it useful, in the interest of
the client, that the barrister gives a list of the law issues that he/she
prefers to treat. (maximum 4)
It is clearly indicated that:
 | the professional activities of the stated barristers are not limited to the given law
issues and that they also treat other cases |
| that the barristers who prefer not to be stated on the list naturally treat all kinds of
law issues. This list merely has the intention to give the client, who doesn't know any
barristers, the opportunity to make a better and more appropriate choice, rather than
choosing a barrister by coincidence. |
